[Bottled at Stockholm Beer Festival] Poors thick hazy golden, no head. Lychee aroma. Medium sweet, soft and full bodued with notes of caramel and rye bread. Loads of hops simmer above. Lingering very bitter finish.

Cloudy orange body with a thin frothy white head, with some slight sediment floating about. Sweet citrus hops aroma. Sweet caramel flavor dominated by citrus hops.

Bottle. Peach, tangerine and hops aroma. Dark amber orange with moderate head. LIght tangerine malt up front quickly overwhelmed by the hops. Long bitter aftertaste. Well balanced - hops flavor is not overwhelming. My dog likes it too and she’s pretty picky about her beer.

100th rater. Thanks go out to jimbowood for this bottle. Poured into a wine glass. Pours with lesser carbonation than a standard IPA, just a bit of lacing. Color is deep orange, cannot see through the beer. Aroma is all hop, consisting of grapefruit and pine. The flavor is not over the top for an IIPA. Drinkable will not "ruin" your palate. Lots of bitterness at the end. Medium body. Not very complex, middle of the road IIPA.

Hazy orange body, medium creamy buff head. Spicy, grassy aroma, caramely, with fruits and alcohol. Spicy, sharp, grassy body, earthy. Piney, earthy hops coat the palate. Lacks the sweet fruitiness of the regular Rye Pale Ale, with assertive alcohol and potent hops playing a stronger role. Bready. Good beer. Thanks jimbowood!

Bottle (courtesy of Jimbowood): Poured a hazy deep orangey color beer with a nice creamy slightly off-white head with good retention. Aroma is quite hoppy with some nice citrus feature. Taste is also hoppy but with a distinctive note of rye which I’m quite fond of. Body is actually quite full and alcohol is well hidden. Very interesting and different take on the style.

Bottle Pours a very thick syrupy hazy orange amber with a nice thick foamy white head. Dence sheets of lacing. Quite sweet aroma, not so hoppy as I expected. Flavor was more of the IIPA type. Full heavy and sweet malt flavors. Strong but ballanced hop flavors as well. Lingering heavy bitter bite at the end. Very full body and rather soft carbonation. A nice hefty IPA. A hazy dark orange beer with a small white head. The aroma is sweet and lovely hoppy combined with notes of caramel. The flavor is sweet malty with lots of hops, but also caramel. The body is thick.

Awesome pour. Huge, fluffy, yet almost creamy head with a cream-marble color. 3 fingers high to start and modestly well-retained. Unfiltered and beautiful orange-tea body with a touch of strawberry blonde notes and copper highlights. Aroma is fruity, with light rye spicing, like freshly baked rye dough. No alcohol yet and it’s starting at about 50 degrees. Quite perfumey and lightly estery, though. Begins with a sweet and lightly sticky caramel malt. Retronasal peaches, plums and grapefruits already, mixed together well. Also, a distinct rye and light perfume-like note A touch of breadiness at the end. Some vanilla and cinnamon in the nose now (half way through the glass). Even as it warms, still no alcohol. Some resin/pine hops acidity sticks to the back of the throat. Extremely low carbonation, but not loose or flat in the least. Just a perfect, tight, expansive bubbling sensation on the tongue. Warm now, there is some raw alcohol characteristic, but not much and no more than I would expect for the abv. The rye grainy/spiciness collects well on the palate adding some needed flavor depth. Body is medium-full to full, the sweet caramel never disappears. No water or thinning. Great beer. Could stand a bit more complex maltiness, but it’s not overdone and it’s quite well-executed. Not unlike the Middle Ages Xth I just had, but better alcohol concealment, stickier, more substantial malt (because it’s unfiltered) and the rye adds a little more depth. A bit of earthy, dry flavors at the bottom of the glass. Lacing is very faint. Thanks for the bottle, Jeff!
