Cask at the Bricklayerโs Arms BF, 2011. Dark brown with a creamy, beige head. Aroma has some very hard, dark malts, lightly roasted. Nice flavor, quite sweet and chocolatey, has some mild coffee, creamy, hints of toffee. Light to medium bodied with fine to average carbonation. Finishes very sweet with lots of creamy mocha. A really nice beer overall.

Cask, gravity dispensed, at the Cambridge Beer Festival. A really tasty mild. Dark chestnut with a thin white head; roasted malt aroma with some chocolate; sweet roasted malt flavour; and a dry chocolate finish.

Cask (handpump) @ Great British Beer Festival, GBBF 2008, Earls Court, London, England SW5.Clear dark brown color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, beige head. Aroma is moderate to light heavy malty, roasted, burnt, coffee, chocolate notes. Flavor is moderate to light heavy sweet and bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft to flat. (080808)
