The ale equivalent of putting your feet up after a day of wandering and exploration.

Golden colour. Fruity hops and pedio on the nose. It’s quite a unique combination, really. Somewhat bitter, fruity and with background malts.

16th April 2010. Clear gold beer, tiny white head. Immediate sulfur funk. Nice orange fruity hops but the sulfur is stil there. Zesty orange and lemon, mineralls. Remove the sulfur from this beer and it would be very good. As it stands it’s still drinkable with it!

cask at The Oxford Bar in Edinburgh - Pours hazy gold and smells of fruity hops. The flavor is of pale malt with some good hops bitterness and a bit of fruit. It’s pretty light and overall is good.

Cask handpull at Society Rooms, JDW, Maidstone. Clear gold, lasting creamy head due to quite tight sparklers used here. Bit of yeast on aroma, but quite pleasing citrusy American hops too. Hugely drinkable in the body. The hops on the finish are really attractive, right level of bitterness, citrusy grapefruit flavour and develops a very good aftertaste. A golden ale done well.

Cask at the Hope Tap (JDW), Reading. Straw with a thin, off-white, head; aromas of citrus and pine; light citrus flavour with some honey; and a light dry bitter finish. Rather ordinary. (4/15/2010 - 6/3/5/3/10=2.7)

50cl bottle from the Sainsbury’s Beer Hunt 2013 range. A fairly standard citrusy golden ale, nothing wrong with it, but nothing memorable either. (9/18/2013 - 6/4/6/3/10=2.9)

Cask at GBBF 2008. Golden with a small white head. Grassy aroma with brett-y grapefruit. Dry and hoppy flavour with brett. The infection may not be on purpose, but I liked it anyway. 3.2

Cask at GBBF 2011. Fruity with a bit of citrus. No brett this time.

Cask at GBBF08. Distinctly fruity hop aroma. Hazy golden colour, very small white head. The flavour has a really good hop character, grassy, citric and grapefruity. Finally a cask ale with some hops.
