Cask (GBBF 2008) - Golden in colour. Slightly spicy aroma with grapefruit and ginger. Mildly hoppy with grapefruit and ginger featuring again. A nice ginger kick in the finish.

Cask at the Royal Oak Beer Festival, Oakley, Bucks/Oxon border 03-05-08 Hazy warm golden in colour with a white bubbly head. The burnt orange peel in the description is the first thing that I picked up, Loz on the other hand got the cloves immediately. I really liked this though I felt that the spices and particularly the cloves contrived to make this feel quite medicinal. This is really quite interesting, as wheat beers go its not very subtle the citrus is a bit full on at times but I found it very moreish and most enjoyable.

Bottle conditioned. Hazy golden-orange colour with a short-lived, moderate white head. Slightly hazy with plenty of carbonation. Aroma of ginger, coriander mace, yeast and citrus. The flavour had more spice, pineapple and a pine resin, dry finish. Very enjoyable.
