Cask at Wandsworth Beer Festival, March 2012 (at 3.8%). It pours very dark brown, with a thin, bubbly beige head. The nose is chocolate, tangy dark fruit, currant, raisin and malt vinegar. The taste is tangy dark fruit, caramel, chocolate, roasted malt and leather, with a dry finish. Medium body and soft carbonation. Not bad- it’s pretty easy drinking anyway.
