A hazed orange pale ale with a thin off white head. In aroma, nice floral hops, smooth herbal qualities, grassy. In mouth, a smooth ale with nice pinhey hops, very British and dignified. Cask at Get Real NY, March 19, 2011, as FreshChester Pale Ale.

On tap. Poured a clear gold with an orange hue and a white head that dissipated slowly to the edges. Aroma had a slight citrus note with some pine and a bit of a grain backing. Flavor started with slight citrus and had a resin note but finished with a grain backing.

6th August 2010. GBBF.
Presented as ’Freshchester Pale Ale’. Cloudy orange beer with a residual suddy white head. Lovely fresh orange - slightly tangy. Semi dry finish. Not much else going on but what there is is great!

From cask at GBBF 2010 as Freshchester Pale Ale. Pours hazy orange with a bubbly white head. Aroma is fruity and slight yeasty. Orange fruity. Slight off. Malty, slight mouldy and sweet caramelish. Ends medium dry malty. This didn’t work for me.5-3-5-3-10=2.6

12 fl oz bottle. Pours hazy orange with a small off white head. Aroma is pine and grapefruity. Solid hoppy, bitter and light citrusy. A bit dusty. Toasted malty and pine hoppy. Grapefruity and dry citrusy. Ends dry and bitter.7-3-7-3-14=3.4

Location: On tap at Rattle 'N Hum, 2/20/10
As Captain Lawrence Freschester Pale Ale

Aroma: Citrusy hops, caramel, lemon, spice, and pine
Appearance: Golden-amber color with a small head
Flavor: Balanced, leaning hoppy, citrus/pine hops, caramel malts
Palate: Medium bodied, smooth, somewhat creamy, and clean feeling
Overall Impression: Overall, this is very much on style for a pale ale. Nicely made and highly drinkable, this is a good solid beer. While it won't blow anyone away, I don't have many complaints, it is a well-done example of the style.

Medium bodied, wet finish. Flavor was sweet caramel, crackers, biscuits, doughy, with citrus, lemons, pine, and just a little vegetal.
