Prima.

0.44 l can from 'Mr. Hop', best before June 2026. Pitch black with a few brown bubbles on top of it. Sweetish-malty, quite roasty aroma of dark chocolate, coffee beans, caramel and roasted hazelnut. Fairly sweet, malty, gently roasty-bitter taste of dark chocolate, coffee, roasted hazelnut, caramel and some licorice, followed by a medium long, gently roasty-bitter finish. Medium to full body, gently effervescent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Very nice for what it is, pleasant flavours, maybe a tad too sweet.

440ml can @ Belgian Beer Geeks Winter Gathering. Pours dark with a pale tan head. Yikes that's bad. Awful raw dusty malt, floor sweepings. Agh.

1/III/25 - 44cl can @ Belgian Beer Geek Gathering (2025 Winter/Spring edition), BB: 19/VI/26 (2025-171) Thanks to 77ships for sharing the can!

Cloudy dark brown beer, practically no head. Aroma: very malty, grains, hay, cow fodder, a bit yeasty, soft roast, not very good. MF: soft carbon, medium body. Taste: very malty, grains, hay, cow fodder, a bit roasted, cardboard. Aftertaste: malty, grains, hay, cow fodder, dirty, unpleasant bitterness, nope, quite a fail if you ask me. Not getting any of that tonka, vanilla or cinnamon. :(

Can at Belgian Beer Geeks Gathering. Almost black, tan head. Roasted malts, cinnamon, cloves, lots of spices, rye, cola, earthy, weird herbs. Medium sweet, light sour and bitter. Under medium bodied. Not great.

50cl can @ Belgian Winter gathering 01 March 2025 – Tim’s place, thanks Eugene. BB 19/06/2026.
