Black with quick fading head. Aroma and flavour have wood, bourbon, coffee and heavily roasted malts. Light carbonation is unwanted in this type of beer as it detracts from the texture. Otherwise it's good stuff.

Bottle from het Biermoment. Dark brown color, short frothy head. Aroma of slight smokey and boozy whisky, hint of vanilla, raisins, some chocolate. More roasty and chocolate notes in taste, some dry and smokey whisky, bit wood and green apples. Totally not impressed. Feels like a blend of leftovers.

(Thank you!) Sampled draft @ Billie's Craft Beer Fest 2017. Black syrup with no head. Nose is molasses weird varnish, chocolate, harsh. Basic chocolate molasses syrup but also strangely bitter, varnish, flat alcoholic syrup, overly bitter, hard to drink, not that great for the style.

Clear black beer, no head. Aroma: lots and lots of whisky, alcohol, soft roast, more whisky, alcohol, dusty, bit chemical. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: lots and lots of alcohol, whisky, pretty messy, quite the alcohol bomb, roasted, banana peel, decent but a bit messy. Aftertaste: dark chocolate, alcohol.
