This light and refreshing summer beer begins with a fruity aroma and taste before an endless wave of bitterness. Another perennial Oakham favourite. Skilfully hopped with a blend of USA and New Zealand sourced hops and with quite remarkable depth and complexity of aroma and flavour for the ABV.

Cask at Cask & Barrel. Clear golden body with a thin white head. Lacing that coats the full glass. Aroma of straw, grapefruit and lime. Flavour of biscuit, grapefruit, lemon and grass. Medium body with an oily mouthfeel. An incredible low-ABV beer. Light, refreshing and wonderfully swiggable.

Cask at St Albans Beer Festival 2013. Poured a really cloudy yellow colour with a scummy white colour, really unappealing. Aroma of straw, bread and candy sugar. Tasted a little like orange squash with some grassy hops and yeasty notes. Palate was thin and watery with some hints of wheat, light hop resin and a metallic edge. Donโ€™t imagine it was supposed to taste or look like this.

Half pint, cask handpulled at Dagda Bar. Pale yellow body, bubbly low head, fragile lacing. Grass, lemon and dusty hops on the nose. Summer fruity flavours, fresh citrus joined by mild malty sweetness leading to a nice bittersweet ending. Not too thin at all. Refreshing, indeed (Edinburgh 10.08.2013).

Cask at Cambridge Blue. It pours pale golden yellow with a small white head. The nose is straw, grain, grass and a touch of lemon. The taste is crisp, grassy bitterness, straw, pithy lemon and light peppery notes with a dry finish. Light body and soft carbonation. Easy-going session ale.

Cask @ The Golden Rule, Edinburgh [020813]
Light golden, clear, dense thin white head
Aroma of light citrus, soft fruits, light apricot, little on the nose
Taste of soft citrus hops, light apricot, soft floral hops, light sweet pale malt background, the bitterness is spoiling the taste
Palate = Thinnish body, quite oily. Finish of soft fruits, very bitter paracetamol linger which iโ€™m not liking
Overall - Not impressed by this. Will re-review because condition is probably suspect

Cask at GBBF 2010. A light golden beer with an off-white head. The aroma has notes of lemons and malt. The flavor is sweet with notes of citrusy hops, malt, and orange blossom flowers.
