Glue, clove, chlorine, band-aid, ripe pear. Sweet overripe pear, banana, bitter clove, medicine. Glue-like finish, harshly bitter, very vague floral hops, phenolic clove, booze (cheap rum). WTF.

75cl bottle @ Belgian Beer Geeks Winter Gathering. Pours clear gold, modest white cap. Aroma of glue.. flavour profile is yeasty sweet with barrel-aging bringing an unpleasant solventy touch that dominates.. a samples enough.

Bottle shared at Brewver Belgian Winter Gathering. Clear golden color, small white head. Aroma is a bit odd, sweetish, yeasty. Flavor is yeasty and a bit oddly sweetish with some liquor notes. Unbalanced, but drinkable. 7-6-6-7-5,5

Clear orange beer, creamy irregular white head, unstable, falls down quickly, a bit adhesive. Aroma: very yeasty, alcohol, sugary impression, a bit chemical, banana, more yeast, a bit soapy, floral. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: sweet start, very sugary, lots of orange peel, yeasty, ripe banana, more yeast. Aftertaste: still very yeasty, banana, some alcohol, not getting much rum though. Meh.

Bottle at Belgian Beer Geeks Gathering. Yeast bright light golden. Yeasty, sugar, raw boozy, bandaids, marmite, cloves. Quit sweet and bitter. Full bodied. I really don't like it.

Dorée, léger pale, col blanc tenace.
Arôme sur un bouquet classique belge avec un lot d’effluves esters qui se marient bien avec le côté barrique de rhum. Pointe épicée en rétro-nasal – girofle voire cannelle.
Palais garde un caractère belge avec un apport d’esters fruités – bananes avec une pointe épicée que j’associe à la mise en barrique de rhum. Douceur latente se fait présente en fin de bouche.

Fles bij de brouwerij geprobeerd met LiekevdV. Het is een helder goudgeel bier met een dun wit schuim. Het heeft een gist achtige geur. De smaak is zoetig, gist achtig en wat rum achtig.
