A hazy orange golden beer with a beige head. Aroma of dried fruits, raisins, caramel. Taste of caramelized malt, raisins, wood, spices.

Speculoos, tobacco, peat, tea leaves, vanilla, dried fig. Sweet fig, banana, smoked tea (reminiscent of Lapsang souchong), herbs, peat. Herbal hops, vanilla & peat, bit spicy, phenolic. Almost full-bodied. Weird indeed, but actually quite enjoyable.

440ml can @ Belgian Beer Geeks Winter Gathering. Hazed amber with a pale tan head. Oof.. peaty smoke and vanilla from the off.. some mingling spice.. bit harsh overall.

Bottle shared at Brewver Belgian Winter Gathering. Reddish color, small white to off-white head. Aroma is very odd, it smells like chewing gum and vanilla. Flavor is weird, chewing gum, herbs or spices, very sweet again. Very very weird. Not my thing at all. 7-5-3-5-4

Pretty cloudy rust brown beer, small creamy off-white head, unstable, non adhesive. Aroma: pretty smoky, a little peated, lots of caramel, gentle roast, a hint of vanilla. MF: soft carbon, medium to full body. Taste: sweet start, lots of vanilla, alcohol, caramel, a little bitter, caramel, milk chocolate, soft smoky touch. Aftertaste: a little bitter, pretty dry, sugary touch, nice one.

Can at Belgian Beer Geeks Gathering. Hazy amber with tan head. Lots of peat, a ton of vanilla, toffee, sweet fruits, ash. Quite sweet, medium bitter. Over medium bodied. Really weird, not nice to drink.

44cl can, BB 07/11/2025 de chez Malting Pot.
Cuivrée, col épais crémeux blanc-cassé.
Arôme sur un bouquet délicat belge avec de fins esters fruités avec un apport plaisant malté pils, je suppose et une petite note de Munich an appui pour le côté plus biscuité et la couleur – léger nez tourbé que j’attendais plus présent et repris en retrait par une fine douceur vanillée.
Palais garde une approche BE dans le côté quadruple le tout avec une pointe de douceur de la vanille qui fonctionne bien avec l’apport plus tourbé sans jamais devenir trop douce.
