This double IPA is bigger in every way but still retains a dry finish that hides its strength. Massive fruit aromas and flavours combined with hazy golden looks and chewy body really do make this beer a stone fruit pulp fest!

Nice and cloudy with a thick and quite chewy mouth feel. A strong taste of pine and I would swear some mango. There was also a nice earthiness to the flavour. A bit of a rough and tough DIPA that takes no prisoners, but also very good.

33cl Can from Beer Boutique. Hazy golden orange colour, off-white head. Aroma of caramel, resin, mango, apricot, citrus, oranges. Flavour is likewise, quite sweet bit well-balanced, light earthy, citrus and fruity bitter finish. Medium bodied. Nice.

Keg @ Tyne Bar, Newcastle [050917] 8/3/7/3/15 3.6
Aroma of tropical fruits, fruit salad, pithy fruits, getting dab of sweet caramel. Taste of tropical fruits, citrus fruits, milky sweet pale malts, smooth, not as fruity as BrewDog Hazy Jane, still a decent DIPA
Keg @ The Cellar, Chester [030417] 8/4/7/4/15 3.8
Yellow orange, thin white head
Aroma of orange, tangerine, sweet citrus, great citrus nose
Taste of fresh citrus, sticky pulpy citrus, juicy orange, sweet malt background
Palate - Medium carb, medium to full body, sticky texture. Finish of sticky juicy orange zest, bitter zest linger
Overall - Lots of orangey stickiness in this

On keg at the Hanging Bat. Appearance - golden amber with a nicely proportioned head. Nose - tropical fruit, possibly overripe melon. Some citrus too, probably orange or lime. Resin bitter finish. Taste - more melon and lime. Some passionfruit or mango too if you look for it. A lot of resin. Palate - light to medium bodied. Creamy, tangy texture through the middle section, dry finish. Overall - not sure it tastes as strong as it is. If I could change anything about it, Iโd slightly tone down the resin note. Good though.

330ml can from Favourite Beers, Cheltenham. Very hazy orange colour with a large frothy slightly off-white head - which unlike other Verdant beers is quite long lasting. Aroma: very hoppy, fruity, pithy, grapefruit, peach. Taste: more of the same, juicy tropical, fruits, pithy, grapefruit, mango, peach, malts, quite a bitter finish, dry. Medium body and carbonation, smooth mouthfeel, alcohol well hidden so itโs still quite drinkable. This is a solid DIPA.
