This double IPA is bigger in every way but still retains a dry finish that hides its strength. Massive fruit aromas and flavours combined with hazy golden looks and chewy body really do make this beer a stone fruit pulp fest!

330ml can from Beer Ritz. Canned 27th March 2017, rated 5th April 2017. Murky orange amber colour, off-white foam head leaving alittle lacing and aroma of mango and citrus, hop resins. Taste is malt, caramel, sweetish with tropical fruits, spicy citrus, grapefruit, woody pine and hop resiny bitterness. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, dry tangy bitter finish. Nicely drinkable.

Can shared with Niilstrong @ hotelroom. Ugly looking murky pineapple juice is the best way to describe the appearance. Aroma is superb: loads of hops and tropical fruit hops. Taste malts, loads of hops, loads of tropical fruit flavors, pineapple, mango. Moderately bitter. Very very nice indeed!

Can from St Albans beer shop, St Albans, Herts. A hazy light orange coloured pour with a medium white head on top. Grapefruit, tropical fruit on the nose. Tastes of grapefruit, orange, some tropical fruit, slightly bitter. Not much sweetness in this DIPA but still nice work from Verdant.

330ml can from Chez Sophie, Shrewsbury. Poured into a large โ€™Leffeโ€™ badged chalice at home on 6th Mar 2017. Dull, misty golden pour, full white head. Dank, piney hop aroma and taste, some tropical fruit esters in the nose and flavour too, bitter and interesting.

330ml can @ Chez Sophie. Pours an unclear gold, medium white head. Aroma is soft fruity passionfruit, lime, grapefruit. Taste brings more of the same, very smooth with some underlying biscuity malts. Not hugely fruity, but nicely balanced and drinkable.

Can from Valhallaโ€™s Goat. Murky irange body with a medium white head. Steady carbonation. Faint lacing. Aroma of grass, lemon and pine. Flavour of dragonfruit, tangy orange and grapefruit. Medium body with a powdery mouthfeel. Prickly fizz. A decent DIPA - sharp but easy drinking.
