Bottle shared with ClubGonzo. Pours a deep reddish amber colour with a light beige medium head. A bit faint aroma of dried fruit, leather, berries, heather and some malty nuts. More leather in a bit sweet aroma with oak, dades, brown sugar and some alcohol. Feels a bit Belgian. Has a rich and slick mouthfeel, and a light bitterness. A decent and Belgian-like ale.

0.5l bottle. This is a cloudy deep amber one with a medium sized lacing beige top. It has a strong, sweet and malty nose with dark malts, ripe red berries, some dry alcohol, caramel and bitter nuts. All in all, it smells a bit sticky. It's average on the carbonation and creamy-oily on the mouthfeel. Sweet and really malty flavors. Lots of bitter nuts, some pine-tones also in here. Having a hard time to place the genre of this. Ends light dry on the tongue with a sweet-ish aftertaste. Nice enough, but no culinary experience really. 17.11.2012

Flaske 0,5l fra Vinmonopolet, Tromsø Sentrum. Drukket hjemme 25 Nov 12. Mørk aprikosfarget. Veldig høyt luftig skum som varer lenge og fester seg godt til glasset. Søt plomme/sviskearoma. Smaken velbalansert. Frukt & trær. Litt tørr i avslutningen. God!

500ml bottle from frau Eva. Firm, bubbly, off-white head leaving spotty lacing behind. Close to clear, golden-brown in body colour. Bready malts to the nose added by some Christmas spices, cinnamon perhaps. Taste of caramel malts, candy sweetness and bitter dried fruits towards the finish. Soft in the mouth. Full bodied with warming alcohol. Acceptable Yuletide sipper, rather nice, in fact (Tromsø, 22.12.2012).
