One of our original recipes brewed since 1997, a pale ale with copious amounts of American Cascade hops. Wonderfully aromatic floral nose balanced by a gentle bitterness with a hint of sweetness. No wonder this beer has won the most awards of all the beers in our range.

Cask conditioned at GBBF Sat 5th August 2006. Amber in colour with a hoppy nose, quite sweetish again hoppy in the taste as well with some spiciness really nice beer. Had this again Cask, Banbury Beer Festival Fri 23rd March 2007, tasted similar to before but even better, had a slight woodiness in the nose and in the taste this time. 3.8 at Banbury (updated rating accordingly)

(Cask at Market Porter, Borough, London 23 Apr 2006) Amber colour with little head. Nose is fruity and full of hops and citrus (grapefruit), the Cascade hops are very prominent. Taste is hoppy and bitter with citrus (grapefruit, lemon), initially a bit sweet, but drier towards the finish. Rather one dimensional, but nice if you like the Cascade character.

Nut brown, creamy off-white head. Flowery Cascade hops with honey sweetness in the nose. Light to medium-bodied, mildly hopped. Ok session beer but quite ordinary real ale.

Hazy amber; potent dry hop aroma; wonderfully leafy, foresty hops and lingering bitterness. Damn fine, well worthy of its third-place finish at the 2002 Champion Beer of Britain.
