Pareto (Port Wine BA) is a monumental wee heavy aged to perfection in port wine barrels for 12 months. Decadent caramel sweetness cut with oak and notes of port wine. Luscious brew suitable for slow sipping.

3/XII/17 - on tap @ Billies Craft Beer Festival - BB: n/a (2017-2102) Thanks to the Belgian, Dutch and German ratebeerians for sharing today's beers!

Clear brown to purple beer, small creamy beige bit, adhesive, stable. Aroma: pretty fruity, yeast, berries, soft roast, nice stuff going on. MF: soft carbon, medium body. Taste: dirty, sourish touch, pretty roasted, very bitter, fruity. Aftertaste: lots of tannins, bitter, wood notes, meh, not very impressed here...

Bottle (from UJH). Pours dark brown with light beige brownish head. The head stays. Aroma is sweet, sugar, candy, malt, oak, malt. Flavor is intense, sweet, bitter, sugar, rubber, candy, malt, oak, some vinous notes. Finish is sweet and oaky with some booze. Overall: overloads my palate (like some other sori beers). Also not a fan of rubber in the beer, but it is sippable, so okish i guess.

Tap at Olutexpo 2017, Helsinki. Color is dark brown with small white head. Aromas and flavors: Chocolate, dryness, some vineous elements, some sweetness, some wood and roasted malts. Pretty soft but needs aging little bit. Very good.
