Deep gold with a frothy white head and a soft citrus aroma. Light to medium bodied, has a little chewiness to it, floral hops with a funky edge come through the light bready malt before a dry finish

Cask at North Western, Liverpool. Pours golden amber with a small foamy off-white head and good lacing. There’s biscuits in the aroma plus traces of citrus and lemon. In the mouth it’s slightly sweet with a creamy texture and a little underlying bitterness. Flavour is initially floral hops, marmalade and // with autumn fruits adding to the mix later. Finish is bitter and quite dry. This is reasonable.

Cask at the moon under water Watford Jdw. A clear mid golden coloured pour with a white speckled head. Aroma is very neutral, subdued, buttered bread. Flavour is composed of semi sweet, jam sandwich, earth. Rounded. Paalte is semi sweet, rounded, decent cask condition. But lacklustre. But drinks OK.

Beer Number 11 at the Wetherspoon Spring Beer Festival 2025, leaving 17 of 30 still untried. Good body hoppy ale with some sweetened tropical fruit notes itching to break through.

8/3/2025. Cask at The Windmill, Stansted Airport. Pours clear bright golden copper with a lasting creamy off-white head. Good pour. Aroma is very fruity, malts, orange, marmalade, biscuit. Moderate sweetness, medium bitterness, slight fruity tartness. Moderate body, soft carbonation. Nice bitterness to finish. Pretty decent.

Cask at the Back of Beyond (JDW), Reading. Deep gold with an off-white head. Light caramel and lemon; rather more straw and twigs. A pretty traditional British cask beer, but none the worse for it; it's quite drinkable and moreish.

Cask handpull at County Hotel JDW Ashford. Clear amber brown colour lasting cream head. Hoppy aroma
Rather an attractive golden bitter with some hedgerow hops and some citrus and a little earthy too. Almost Frys Turkish Delight on aroma . I thought pretty good bitter. Dryness on the finish. Good temperature and condition as I get almost always at this pub.
