Spoons Spring Fest 2025 - toasted and sweet malty with notes of caramel and toffee, some marmalade shred, soft cask carb, bitter hoppy and toasted malty close. Nice one.

Beer Number 23; at the Wetherspoon Spring Beer Festival 2025, leaving 5 of 30 still untried plus both the two variations of the already tried in name. Glowing with an easy texture. Hopped light bitterness, goes down well enough without much fuss about the ale.

Cask handpull at County Hotel JDW Ashford. Clear russet colour lasting beige head. Decent red ale. Certainly has the malt backbone. Some dryness on the finish. Some spicy malt flavour. Decent

Hand pulled third of a pint in The Moon Under Water, (A Spoons in Hounslow) on 7th March 2025. Looked fine, red hue to the amber body, clean and clear, on top a beige crust. Thought this had a Rye like bitterness and didn't take to it, strange flavour and aroma, fruity but over spiced for my palate.
