On tap at Goller Drosendorf. My first beer in a krug this trip. Yes some noble hop and bitter sting on the finish. Actually this is pretty good. It’s like a dead drinkable lager with good noble hop finish pretty fecken good. A little yeast on aroma some lemon fruit. Utterly drinkable. Cold clean lemon hoppy. Perfect 9 years later. I agree it's good but maybe not as good as I thought. Finish is excellent though.

Bottle from REWE, Buttenheim. Slightly hazy gold with a decent, off-white head. Light malts, a touch of sweetness, a perfumed, floral aroma and moderately bitter finish. Good.

Draught at the Göller Biergarten hinterm Haus: Golden, hazy, small but lacy white head, moderate aromatic hayish-hoppy nose with a delicate malty background; light to moderate bitter-sweet flavour, light to medium bodied; slightly lingering hayish-hoppy finish. Very decent Kellerbier...

Draught at the brewpub. Nicely hoppy aroma. Clear golden colour as far as I can see down the mug. Stable white head. The flavour is very nice, good hoppy note, a bit of malt. Well-balanced.

Ceramic mug. Yellowish colour. Hoppy, fruity, fresh spicy and downright appetizing. Very fruity hoppy and more bitterness than most. Juicy acidity in the finish. You reach quickly for another sip.

Sampled draught at the brewery. By Franconian standards Drosendorf is not a very beery village. There is only one brewery there! Of course Memmelsdorf with its three breweries lies only 1km away, which kind of helps. This amber coloured beer was served in a traditional stein and had a lightly cellery malt aroma. It was medium bodied with a touch of roastiness and low-medium bitterness.
