Can 12fl.oz. [ As Evil Twin Retro IPA ].Clear medium orange yellow color with a large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, pale malt, moderate hoppy, grass, fruity hops, dusty hops. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average duration, fruity hops, old hops, pale malt. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20160625]

Bottle from Dranken Geers, Oostakker, Nr Gent, Belgie, consumed at Truck Festival, Steventon, Oxon, Saturday 16th July 2016 Pours hazy light amber with a large frothy white to off-white head. Fruity and hoppy on the nose. Hoppy in the mouth but there is a rough slightly unrefined bitterness. It’s ok but Retro or not it is not doing much for me, ok. A7 A4 T6 P3 Ov13 3.3

Can @ fonefan tasting. Clear golden with a lasting white head. Aroma is sweet, malty, caramel and light hoppy - fruity and old hops. Flavor is medium sweet and moderate bitter. Dry and moderate bitter finish. 250616

Clear golden coloured body with a thinnish, single centimetre tall off-white head. Aroma of grassy and herbal hops with a little malt and not much else. Light to Medium-bodied; Assertive grassy and floral hoppiness with some subdued malts and a touch of metal along with some light fruit sweetness. Aftertaste shows some grain, metal and bitterness, predominantly from the hops. Overall, a decent IPA at best, this one shows way too much bitterness and not enough complexity. I sampled this twelve ounce can purchased yesterday from Whole Foods in New York (Bowery), New York on 28-May-2016 for US$2,99 sampled on the roof of my hotel in Lower Manhattan, New York on 29-May-2016.
