Aroma is piney hops with citrusy notes of orange peel, grapefruit and stone fruits, as well as malts with bread and heather. Full body, with soft average carbonation. Flavour is piney hops with citrusy notes of grapefruit, marmalad and fruit pits, as well as malts with cereals, toffee and heather. Lingering dry bitter finish.

440ml can, #807, bought at Vinmonopolet Langnes. Shared with Finn. Crocheted lacing from a rich white head, hazy golden body. Promising fruity taste, including grapefruit and apricot. Quite prominent taste of orange, dried fruits and grapefruit. Drying close with fair bitterness. Fine depth to it. Pretty good. (Tromsø, 29.03.2025).

440 ml can, from Vinmonopolet Kvadrat. ABV is 7.5%. Nearly clear golden colour, large white head. Aroma of citrus (particularly grapefruit), crushed white grapes, a hint of pine. Flavour of grapefruit, pine needles and sprucetips. A moderate malty sweetness. Good bitterness in the finish.

Søndag kveld, og jeg bevilger meg med glede en ny Salikatt, vel vitende om at jeg ikke kommer til å bli skuffet. Nesten helt klar gylden med forbilledlig skum. Herlig aroma og inspirerende smak med spanske (bitter)appelsiner og andre citrusfrukter, marmelade av ditto, furunål/granskudd og en liten tur i urtehagen. En vederkvegelse fra første til siste dråpe. 0,44 boksen fikk jeg i bytte for en hundrelapp hos pusheren i Verksgata, en utmerket investering.

From can at at dark night shared tasting in Kristiansund. Clear golden. Off-white head and lacing. Fine aroma and taste of Sevilla marmalade, various fresh citrus, pine and grapefruit bitterness and dried apricot. Solid and lingering bitterness. Very good!
