Pale gold with a frothy little white head and tropical fruit aroma. Zesty and refreshing with tropical fruit flavours and pink grapefruit bitter sweetness, an almost bubblegum feel to it. [Shrewsbury CAMRA Beer Festival 2022]

Handpull cask at the Pilgrim’s Progress, Bedford. Dark gold bordering on amber fresh grassy and malty tones in the aroma complemented by a subtle piney hint. Very bitter taste after some initial sweetness, but extremely well balanced. Fresh bitter finish. Very good.

Cask at Pint Shop, Cambridge. It pours clear golden with a small white head. The nose is grainy, biscuit, straw, lemon and lime. The taste is rather bitter, lemon, grapefruit, biscuit, honeyed fruits, straw and pepper with a lingering bitter-dry finish. Medium body and soft carbonation. Good bitterness. Solid.

Ale House, Chelmsford. Cask. Light haze on this gold beer, small bubbly white head. Palate is smooth and semi dry. Fine carbonation. Sweetish pale malts, touch of honey which integrates nicely with the orange peel hops. Lemon rind starts sweetish but turns bitter and tangy. Lingers on in to the aftertaste. Little hop spice. Decent if a tad tangy.

Cask-conditioned at The Wenlock, 1/8/08. Copper coloured with a big, white head that left lots of lacing. Red fruit and caramel aroma with some grassy hops. Sweet malt flavour with plenty of fruit, citrus hops and a long dry finish. Very good.
