It’s our best selling beer for a reason. Simple pale malts provide a base for a complex blend of hops. The colour is very pale with lemon citrus and floral flavours, progressing to a spicy mouthfeel and a clean earthy bitterness in the finish.

Bottle at home ... very pale yellow ... thin white head ... light fruity lemon nose ... soapy lemon fruits ... light juicy ... light bitter linger ... quite hoppy ... very clean and refreshing ... probably should have had this a little colder ... but quite nice

50cl bottle from Bessingers, Grove, Oxon. Pale straw with a loose white head that faded quickly; elderflower and citrus aroma with a hint of farmyard; clean light citrus flavour with some honey and a gently bitter finish. A refreshing summer beer.

Cask, Bodega, Newcastle Upon Tyne. Pallid golden colour. Citrus hop aroma and flavour. Solid but unremarkable. Not the best effort from Durham.

Cask, 3.8% at GBBF08. OK dusty malt aroma. Almost clear golden colour. Good frothy white head. Thin mouthfeel. Grainy fruitiness, hint of dust. Quite boring.
