Clear amber gold with a bubbly/frothy white head and light malt with a hint of spice/funk on the nose. A little spicy kick up front, light malt, soft fruit and some floral hops continue through to a dry, slightly bitter finish

Poured from 500mL bottle. Slightly hazed light amber gold with small white head. Mild biscuit and caramel malt, very feint hops. Nothing special, but no faults in the beer. Decent English bitter.

On cask at Bell Inn, Bath. Pours amber brown with virtually zero head. Aroma of malt, biscuit & caramel. Taste is light sweet & light to moderate bitter, bread, grainy malts, lemony floral hop. Medium bodied, no carb to speak of, dry-ish light honeyed finish. Very trad, a bit twiigy for my taste

Gravity cask at the Star Inn, Bath. Golden brown, clear with no head. Simple and muted woody malt aroma. Fantastic taste: bittersweet with chewy yeast and more woody notes, with a slight souring note toward the clean finish. A basic English bitter done extremely well.
