Warning! Early amateur rating! On tap at the Sun Inn, Kelvedon. Fruity and slighty bitter ale. Mild carbonation. Slips down easy enough.

(Cask at Wenlock Arms, London, 4 Aug) Colour is dark amber with notes of ruby, small white head. Nose is malty and nutty with notes of orange, mandarin, apricots and some resiny hops. Taste starts malty and nutty, turns fruity with orange, mandarin and apricots, ending in a nice nutty finish with a grassy hop character. Well made and solid bitter.
