This creamy-as-you-like India Pale Ale was made in collaboration with some of our favourite French indie retailers. Brewed with heaps of oats and wheat and loaded with Citra, Chinook and Motueka, it’s thick, pungent and Dijon-yellow with bold flavours of OJ, black pepper, lemon, lime and rosemary gin fizz.

Panda at home, thanks to Kenneth, 13/04/2025.
Hazed orange topped with a just off white head that dissipates to a swirl.
Nose is orange zest, mixed tropical fruit esters, grass, papaya, mandarin.
Taste comprises bitter orange, pine needle, grapefruit, ripe melon, mango flesh, subtle hop spice.
Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close spiked with juicy come lightly resinous hop bitterness.
Solid IPA.

The in demand beer at the Town Mouse, was being poured by the proprietor in Newcastle whilst both myself and another were waiting patiently for that brew also. Typically it ran out for us, but we're treated to a bottom of the barrel sample of the hazy paler golden beer. Fantastic tropical notes here married with a nice mouthfeel. The football club winning a trophy feel-good-factor is certainly still flowing in the city and it's noticeable.

Can. Hazy orange gold beer, decent bubbly pale cream colour head. Palate is smooth and semi dry, decent fine minerally carbonation on the back end. Light smooth pale malts, a decent creamy sweetness. Hops bring light cooling pine into decent citrus. Just a hint of Chinook muscle with a mild boxy bitterness. Mellow Motueka lime on the back end. A general mild Citra background that gets pleasingly juicy late on. 2nd Beak can on the trot with a vague chalky aspect. Tidy but lacking normal Beak sparkle for me. Think this would have been a far more interesting beer if this had a lot more Chinook presence. Still good mind.
