Cask at the Smithfield, Derby. Amber with a ring of white head; ginger aroma (as expected); light ginger flavour supported by sweet malts; then a dry finish. Does exactly what it says on the pump clip - but nothing more.l

Cask @ Bon Accord. Clear golden colour, medium dense off-white head. Ginger is actually overpowering in aroma and flavour. Aroma is soapy. Taste is ginger, soapy and alkalic. Not my taste.

Cask at GBBF08. Good citric ginger aroma. Good sweetness with good ginger flavour. I like it even though it is atypical.

Hand-pulled and served at the right drinking temperature from The Mid West England Bar at GBBF. Brass-like colour. Ginger extracts in both smell and taste added a lemon touch. Sweet and quite dry. Short ending. Not a drink for my taste buds (08.08.2008).

Cask at GBBF 2006. A hazy light yellow beer with no head. The aroma is sweet with light notes of ginger, while the flavor is sweet with stronger notes of ginger on a light malty back ground, leading to a dry end. Not my thing.
