Brewed with wheat and pilsner malt; this IPA displays beautiful citrus aromas from Cascade and Citra hops that meld with the esters of Belgian yeast. Think thirst quenching hopped-up wit beer with enough IBUs to warrant the IPA name.

Pour is a hazy bright golden/yellow. Thin white head leaves some spotty lacing. Aroma is funky yeast, wheat, and lemon. Taste is wheat, pilsner malt, lemon, some spice, and some funk. Medium bodied with light carbonation. Not very bitter for an IPA. More along the lines of a hopped up Belgian Wit.

18th July 2014, on-tap pint in Atomic, Las Vegas. Cloudy, very pale yellow with a thin white head. Served a bit too cold, so no aroma for a while, but as it warmed a little the citrus aromas began to appear. Slight yeastiness along with the citrusy taste. Refreshing first pint of the evening, but not a repeat order.

Bottle from GBBF 2014 and drunk at home. Hazy pale gold orange with a lasting white head. Soapy lemony orange flavour. I mean it’s a Belgian Wit. Yes some hops, but the soap, the orange flavour. It’s a Belgian Wit that has some decent bitterness on the finish. Fine. Soapy. Orangey Belgian Witty. Fine. Perfumed orange soapy aroma. Fine. Bit too soapy for me..

Bottle at GBBF. It pours cloudy gold with a decent white head. The nose is fresh citrus, tropical, doughy wheat and tangy fruits. The taste is crisp, bitter, orange, grapefruit, five alive fruit juice, dough, wheat, tang and candied peel with a dry finish. Medium body and fine carbonation. Nice tangy fruits.
