Shared bottle at local tasting, as Møn Julebryg, from Voldby Købmandsgaard. ABV is 6.2%. Very dark ruby colour, moderate beige head. Aroma of Christmas spices, hints of chocolate. The flavour is not too sweet, but has loads of Christmas spices. Yes, yes - we get your point: It is Christmas. Quite drinkable even at Easter.

Mahogany. Beige head. Aroma of spices and washing-up liquid. Boiled vegetables, star anis and perhaps ginger in taste. Good palate and not too carbonated. Too much spices for my taste.

Clear dark brown beer, small pale tan head. Slightly soft palate. Very light touch of dark malt. Light spice - not overdone, ginger and cinnamon maybe. Gets a little fruity and minerally with a whisper of bubblegum. Creamy malt. An okay spiced beer but wasn’t really my cup of char.

Bottle. It’s a clear, copper-colored beer with a beige head. Raisins, toffee, some spices, anise it seems, and some roasted malts in the aroma. Quite meaty. The flavor is on the sweet side, with dried fruits, toffee, some bready notes and spices too. Full-bodied and smooth, with a pleasant carbonation. Roasted, sweet finish with dried fruits and some anise-like licorice. Not my kind of Christmas beer, but quite decent. 100522
