Cask at the Plough Inn, Shustoke, Warks. Clear amber with small off white head. This one was biscuity with some light lemon zest and floral hopping. Quite pleasant if maybe a bit simple. Went down well with a burger.

Cask @ Old Station Hotel, Llandudno Junction [090615]
Amber, clear, dense white head
Aroma of soft caramel, light fruits
Taste soft malts, light caramel, light toffee, almost no hops
Palate - Medium light body, smooth. Finish of soft cereal
Overall - Another boring bitter...forgettable amongst all the low abv golden ales / bitters in the area I’ve had today ZZZZzzzzz

Cask at Gullivers in Manchester city centre. Golden with a thick head. Very thin texture and no real flavours to it. Retried at the Regal Moon in Rochdale in 2021, still not to flavoursome, still a tad thin but perhaps a small sweetness in both aroma and taste.

Cask at the Cross Keys, JDW. Clear gold pour with a foamy, white head. Slight toast aroma, some crispy malts and dough. Lightly sweet flavor, very doughy, some light wood. Light bodied with fine carbonation. Dry finish, woody, some toast, faint citrus and grass, light sugar. Decent.

Copper coloured bitter. Smooth and creamy texture. Flavour is very mild and bland despite the 4.5% alcohol.
