33 cL bottle. Pours pale yellow with HUGE white head. Clearly pilsener and grass aroma. Thin taste of grass (tasmanian hops it seems) and mild bitterness. One can clearly tell that this is a Carlsberg from the yeast notes. Overall this is just thin. I assume they aimed at a light champagne like beer and failed - sadly, last bottle I have of this will be saved wtih together with beers from the beer elections in 1997 and 2003: beers not to be drunk.

Bottle. (Notes from 2005) Pale golden color with a small head. Light hoppy aroma and some sweetness. Smooth flavour of malt and hops with a fruity finish.

(Bottle 33 cl) Very pale golden with a small, creamy head. Very flowery, hoppy nose. Medium body with sweet malts and an obvious alcohol. Very discreet bitterness in the finish. A poor celebration of a Royal wedding from Carlsberg. 060404

(Bottle). "Danish malts, GLUCOSE SYRUP, Tasmanian hops" .... hmmm. Carlsberg’s attempt to make a beer with champagne-like qualities ... hmmm - I’m not a big fan of real champagne (price considered), but I’d definitely prefer real champagne for a celebration, if Carlsberg Crown were the best beer on offer. Fruity but not very strong aroma, bubbly/fizzy fruity flavour, not offensive but far from interesting. Alcohol is well hidden (behind what??). I’m not a monarchist, but I think the happy couple deserved something better than this.

Neutral nose, very slight citrus and soda nose. Pale yellow, champagne bubbles. No real flavors, only napkin and hay notes. Watery fizzy mouthfeel.

Wow, there is not a lot of love here! Light yellow with a nice head and a refreshing hops nose. The flavour is indeed weak, but it’s crisp. I would use a Chimay White for a wedding, but I don’t really think it’s as bad as said below.

Very ligth aroma. Light smell, quite herbal. Ordinary lager, with a light but disappointing herbal touch (heather like).

This is not the kind of beer anybody will get any recommendations for brewing to my wedding - the crownprince couple to be must be very disappointed. This beer looks like it is from Gambia but it' snot - yellow and no head. The aroma is sour, malty, and hoppy. And the flavor is plain boring and the body is thin.

Looks like any old pilsner, except the head is plenty and lasting. Definitely different hops from the usual Carlsberg, which leaves the beer without much aftertaste. Something seems to be missing, reminds me of demineralised water.
