660 ml bottle, bought in Denmark. ABV is 6.5%. Very dark brown colour, nearly black. Big beige head. "Dusty" aroma with notes of coffee, hints of chocolate. Moderately roasty flavour with notes of coffee and dark chocolate (which indeed are among the ingredients), not very sweet. The hops are fairly subdued. Light mouthfeel, the alcohol is well hidden. Decent enough to drink, but not the greatest stout I’ve had.

Dark brown body with a descent beige head. Nice aroma of roasted malt, coffee, chocolate and a hint of liquorices. The flavor is mostly the same as expected from aroma but a bit mild and weak. It all ends up like an average beer, nice flavors but to weak and definitively needs more coffee and more hops.

8th May 2010. Copenhagen Beer Festival. Very dark brown beer. Fresh dark malt. Crisp palate - minerally and fresh. Crisp finish. That’s it - what coffee? Beers from this brewery seem to lack complexity.

2010-04-08, picked up another bottle at Fakta in Randers, Denmark. Everything was spot on as the old rating - but with the differeance that I din’t pick up the banana - 3,4* Today, bottle 10 C AR: Sweet/bitter chocolate AP: Dark black/reddish body, light brown diminsihing head, lovely curtins F: coffe, chocolate, banana bread, long after bitterness, dry after tones. You would expect a full body, but unfortunatly it’s a bit weak!

Rich raisin, chocolate, coffee nose. Murky dark brown, cream cappucino head. Milk chocolate start, dry medium body, nice spice and coffee notes. Chocolaty finish. Very well balanced.
