bottle from Bierzwerg. Cloudy pale yellow, large white head. Wheaty and yeasty, slightly fruity with a pleasant malty sweetness and very, very smooth. Delicious.

(bottle) Hazy, golden colour with a firm medium-sized and slightly tanned foamy head. Yeasty, wheaty and a bit cara-malty aroma with notes of citrus and banana, accompanied by a touch of bubblegum. Slightly sweet and sour flavour, light bodied with a moderate carbonation for a Hefeweizen. Sourish wheat-character with citric notes and hints of cara-malt in the background; dry, delicately sweet and sour-tart finish. A bit slim but refreshing and rounded Hefeweizen. 07.I.12

0.5l bottle from Fenaknoken, Oslo. Pours a cloudy straw-yellowish body with a nice big-bubbly and light fluffy off-white head. Aroma is light yeasty, notes of green banana, cloves, hay and actually something reminding me of chicken-stock. Lively carbonated, light to medium-bodied and has a watery to oily mouthfeeling. Tastes light cardboard, hay, mild yeast and kinda grainy. Ends light yeasty with a watery and mild peppery aftertaste.

50cl Bottle from De Bierkoning. Hazy golden colour, white head. Aroma of light banana, yeast, fruity esters, alcohol. Flavour is light sweet, wheat, light sour grainy note, light spicy with cloves, light sour grainy finish. Light to medium bodied. OK.

Had this at a bar (forgot name) quite centrally located in Bamberg near Scherlenka 18-06-10. Cloudy gold/orange colour with a thin white head, very wheaty nose and light banana ouches. Tangy, fruity, banana showing again, Loz gets a streaky sourness, I’m not so sure that I get that, its good. A7 A4 T6 P3 Ov13 3.3
