(Draught at Lord Nelson, Copenhagen, 19 May 2007) Dark ruby colour, hazy, with brief head. Fruity, hoppy nose with the usual Cascade character of grapefruit and pine needles. Fruity taste with grapefruit, dried fruit, pine needles and balanced sweetness in a very hoppy finish. More complex than expected. Great hop character, very tasty beer.

Amber with a lasting cream head. Loads of grapefruit in the aroma. Bitter and even a little sharp flavour, with a good full body to balance.

Bottle: Slightly hazy, amber coloured, rocky yellowish, slowly diminishing head; stronger resinous, citrusy hoppy nose;robust bitter-sweet flavour, relatively light bodied for a beer of 5.5 %ABV, soft MF, citrusy hops, again, in the bitter-sweet and lingering finish. A superb, hoppy brew.........

Draught at Frederikshavn ΓΈl- og vinfestival 07. Good hop aroma, nicely fruity and citric. Cloudy chestnut colour. Very small head. The flavour is nice with a good bitterness. A lot of flavour and aroma hops. Thin mouthfeel, but a good beer.

Draught at Horsens Beerfestival. Clear, golden-brown with a beige head. Hoppy and piney aroma with beef-stock notes and a malty sweetness. The flavor is piney and hoppy as well, with malt and stock here as well. Full-bodied beer with a nice hoppy and sweet finish. Rating: 6-4-7-4-14-3.5. 061028
On tap at KΓ-10. Itβs a clear, dark golden beer with a small, beige head. Citrusy nose with some pineapple and a good maltyness. The flavor has a good maltyness, quite biscuity, and with a fine citrusy bitterness. Dry and bitter, full-bodied and smooth. Long finish. A nice and pleasant IPA, but I prefer the rye IPA. Rating: 6-3-6-4-13-3.2. 100507
Bottle. An unclear, dark amber beer topped by a small, dense, beige head leaving lacings. Piney, grapefruity hops on the nose, with some maltyness and a sugary impression. The flavor has a certain malty sweetness in the back, putting the piney, grapefruity hops and bitterness in the front row. Full body, drying and with a pleasant carbonation. Long, bitter finish. A beer that I seems to have problems deciding what to think of. 110524
