On tap at Ris-Ras Aarhus 16-09-08 Pours looking like a muddy puddle with a head that swiftly departed. Fresh oily cascade hops rip through but surprisingly not the pushy bitterness that I expected. Sweetness keeps things in check well, some lemon peel, this is very good its just not a looker.

Bottle from Fotex, Copenhagen. Hazy russet with lasting beige head. Lovely cascade hop aroma, with some toffee, from the mlat. Yep, it’s pretty good. Not outrageous, but does what I would want from a cascade IPA. That grapefruity earthy fruitiness is great. OK in mouth, some good toffee malt and then good leafy dryness on finish. Not extreme, but tasty, aromatic. Just right blend of hop and malt. Really good mouthfeel and extremely drinkable. Really competent. Not extreme.

Draught (Pikkulintu, Helsinki)- Copper coloured with a bit of a haze. The aroma is peachy and hoppy with grapefruit and toffee. Fairly bitter and hoppy taste with peaches and grapefruit being noticeable. Fairly tasty and well balanced.

Clear amber color, small off-white head. Cascade hoppy, a bit licoricey nose. Fruity hoppy flavor. Some sweetish, pale malty notes. Sweet IPA, not really hoppy like American bros, but quite ok. (7/4/7/3/13)

Dark amber-orange color, small off-white head. Flowery hoppy, sweetish and good. (7/4/7/3/14 3.5)

50 cL bottle. Pours hazy orange towards brown and with a little dense off-white head. Solid fruity hops aroma lending towards pine wood. Flavour is almost completely dry and with a solid fruity grapefruit and pine wood notes. Mild and unsweet caramel malt base. Bitter and lingering hoppy fruity finish. Nice, yet simplistic Raasted brew. I remember the first batches less clean than this, but also more vibrant.

220ml draught. Hazy brown body under a lasting filmy, beige layer. Solid aroma of fresh hops. Taste of bitter orange peels that continues into a lingering dry bitter finish. Well balanced and bodied brew (Lord Nelson, Copenhagen 01.08.2007).
