Cask at the Traveller’s Rest, Stanley, Staffordshire. An excellent, straightforward, pint; straw coloured with a frothing white head; citrusy aroma; medium bodied with citrus flavours; and a crisp hoppy finish.

Cask handpull at Thomas Ingoldsby, Canterbury. Chestnut with deep lasting beige head. Green apple, bitter. Not a lot else to say. Green apple in mouth, acidic, citric hop finish. Probably not at its best as Mordue is a pretty good brewer. Touch of toffee

[Cask at Charlie’s Bar, Copenhagen] A hazy orange beer with a small white head. The aroma is very hoppy and flowery - very summerly - reminding me of walking on a meadow in the summer sun. The flavor is dry hoppy, with hints of hay, combined with hints of citrus, primarily grapefruit - though without the sourness. A very refreshing beer.
