Cask gravity at K&ES 2026. Black beer lasting beige head. Definitely blackcurrant flavour. Them some stout. But mostly its ribena. Too much blackciurrant. Not fof me
Dominates the base beer too much for me. .

My first ever drink in the Manchester Head Of Steam. Black coloured stout and although the fruit is prominent, chocolate is too, which serves to enhance the sweetness of the latter. Tasty, dense, fuller-bodied and perhaps not the most appealing to those not into the craft scene given it's slightly rich, it's worthy in my opinion.

Very dark beer, solid tan head. Blackcurrant and malt in the aroma. Big sweet blackcurrant flavour up front, some malt, a little cereal which gives it some smoothness. It's nothing to write home about but it's a decent, sweet, full-bodied stout and it's a pleasant time.
