Can from the brewery. Appearance - bright golden with a nice fluffy head, with some lacing hanging about. Nose - very grainy, not inspiring or typical for the style. Taste - lemon and corn. Better. Palate - light bodied and fairly balanced on the finish. Overall - tastes better than it smells.

Keg at Horse & Groom, Chobham. Malty sweet aroma with some earthiness. Hazy gold. Foamy white head. Sweet but tempered by a malty and grainy streak. The sweetness gradually gains prominence. Light. Slick. Average carbonation. Abrupt finish. It's fine. Not offensive.

440ml can. Poured a hazy light golden colour with a thin white head. The aroma is grainy malt, light toffee caramel, hay, light hop. The flavour is moderate to light bitter, with a crisp, fresh, grainy, light toffee, light dry, light floral hop bitter palate and a lingering bitter finish. Medium bodied with average carbonation.

Can at home from Mad squirrrel Berko. A clear golden orangte coloured pour with a lasting loose white head. Aroma is big apple, loose cereal grains, nutty malts, leafy, spicy hop. Flavour is composed of semi sweet, flabby cereal grains, metalic rusty penny notes, apple pie, dirty grains. Palate is semi sweet, highish carbonation, dirty leafy hops. Little salty.

Can picked up from the High Wycombe branch of the Mad Squirrel chain. Consumed at home Thursday 22nd November 2018 whilst cooking a Prawn and Chorizo Risotto Pours gold with just the merest of a haze, a mid sized white head sits atop. Nice malty bite, good solid hoppiness throughout. This is not Loz's thing but it tastes authentic to me. A6 P4 T7 P4 Ov14 3.5
