(Bottle) Pours clear golden amber with small white head. Very pleasant aroma of pine with notes of stone fruit and toffee. Medium body with good fine carbonation. Great taste with a good balance between hoppy bitterness, caramel malt and some nice fruity notes. Very enjoyable.

Bottle: pours copper with white head. Aroma is biscuit, some fruitiness. Taste is lightly bitter, malty. Fine.

Bottle in Forbes - Deep golden colour with a white head. Aroma and taste are citrus orange pine and slight bitter. medium body.

Bottle. Amber with a good inch of near white head. Aroma of breadcrust and that characteristic grapefruit/ weedy hop. So it tastes. Fairly sweet.There's a nice toppiness to the grapefruit. Medium high bitterness.

Can from National Brewery Centre. Misty gold pour with a good white head. Fruity nose. Taste presents quite a fruity number, tropical sweet with a good malt presence. Decent.

Tap at Popeye. Amber orange colour with a small white thin bubbly head. Aroma not very strong, hint of fruit, grapefruit, orange and lime. Taste is bitter and fruity and at the same time a bit sweet and boozy. Nice and spritzy in the mouth. Finish is slightly bitter but soon fades.

Draft at Beer Komachi, Kyoto. Hazy golden orange with a white head. Aroma of fruity hops, grapefruit, citrus and dank hops. Flavour is light to light moderate sweet and above moderate bitter. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.

Tap at Beer Komachi, Kyoto. Poured a slightly hazy medium amber with a thin broken white head. The aroma is malt, zesty tropical citrus fruits, light floral woot hop. The flavour is moderate bitter light sweet, with a crisp, fresh, jammy citrus fruit, hop bitter palate. Medium bodied with average carbonation.

330ml bottle from a market @ Owase, Mie prefecture. Pours nice golden orange, decent white foam on top. Drinking this pretty close to the brewery. Nose is fresh, light citrus, malty base covered with herbal citric hop character. Tastes bready, malt body is relatively strong but well balanced with Cascade. Decent bitterness, light citric fruity edge, just a bit earthy. Quite decent and quaffable pale ale, dry bitter linger in the finish, last accord given by malty bready base.
