Bottle. Aroma is huge Brett funk with barnyard and horseblanket. Some semblance of a malty and hoppy IIPA way behind the funk, but the Brett has done a thorough job eating the base beer. Flavour is light sweet and medium bitter. Body is medium. Quite an extreme Brett bonanza, interesting, but I would have liked more balance between funk and the underlying IIPA.

Amber color. Acidic, vinegar, some remaining grassy hops. Bone dry, sour, very bretty. Vinegar. Complex and nice, but not a DIPA anymore.

Bottle. Foggy amber color. Aroma: wild, acidic, strawberry, first-aid kits and a stockyard, fruit, pineapple, funky, citrus. Taste: bitter, slightly aspirin, fruit, citrus, strange, warm, alcohol and dry finish.

Bottle. Etre Gourmet. I live an hour from the brewery but it’s cheaper to buy these beers from Belgium. Buxton have a weird way of doing business! Whatever. Pours mostly clear, medium amber. Skim of white head. Nose has chewy brett. Some sticking plaster. Some chipped wood. Floral, oily, herbal hop. Taste has a light sweetness, with a chewy, earthy, bretty, sweaty bitterness. No holds barred, here. Smooth and fairly full mouthfeel. Soft carbonation. Big, punchy, Buxtonesque bitterness to finish. Twang of fruity runs throughout. Lovely stuff.

Unclear, copper colored, medium+ frothy off white head. Aroma is quite Bretty, fruity tart, barnyard, would say DIPA by aroma. Taste is medium+ sweet malt, some caramel, again lots of Brett character, funky barnyard, fruity tartness, some citrus and fruity hops, medium bitterness. Medium+ bodied, average carbonation, oily. Brett mostly overpowered the DIPA in this one. (bottle, Bierhalle Deconinck, Vichte)

Bottle picked up from Buxton online store, consumed at home Thursday 6th February 2018 when cooking a meatball lasagne. Light amber with a sticky white head, really good clarity. The aroma is a beefier slightly more malty version of a Bruxellensis or Orval. In the mouth there is a nice softness, good bitterness that creeps around the gums. Love the brett, love the hops, almost a medicinal numbing going on, this is a lovely beer. A8 A4 T9 P4 Ov17 4.2

C: Very good cream-coloured dense head, leaving textbook lace over crystal-clear foxy red-amber beer. 4/5 N: Nice Brett nose with lactic acid, “funky”, fruity, as moulded red fruit and ditto citrus combined. 8/10 T: Hints of chocolate through vinous, fruity flavours, organic acids and again, “funky” is the name of the game. 7/10 MF: Not thin as many Brett beers, quite slick and good carbonation. Rather Orval-like. 3/5 O: Quite decent. On the downside, not much hopcharacter, might be reinforced for a IIPA.15/20
