42nd floor beer share. Thanks to Wingman. Hazy gold beer, small pale cream colour head. Soft grainy malts, sweet. Good tripel spice. Sweetish floral Motueka, Light ripe citrus. Light spicy finish. Amusing.

Bottle split at L42, thanks to the Wingman, 14/06/17. Hazed golden orange with a decent white cap. Nose is yeast esters, grains, spice, light tropical fruit tickle, citric peel. Taste comprises mandarin, spice, lighy yeast tones, sweet licks, caramel. Full bodied, fine carbonation, rising boost level and some juicy interplay for balanced. Ok stuff for a style I’m not a fan of but as usual with said style it lacks depth and cohesion for me and feels a little harsh and boozy in places ... but better in this respect than many of its style compatriots !

Bottle shared on Level 42 14/06/2017. Many thanks to Wingman Dave for this one. A hazed golden orange coloured pour with a frorhy white head. Aroma is spicy citrus, semi sweet grains, some alcohol, pear drop, orange rind. Flavour is rustic malts light grains, pear drop, lemon rind, spicy hop, . Palate is medium bodied, spicy, frothy carbonation. Little chewy. Ok for the style.

Bottle shared in London - thanks to Dave. Pours clear yellow-gold with a creamy, white head. The nose has some Belgian yeast, lemon peel, hay, honey. Medium to big sweet flavour with notes of wheat bread, low bitterness, ripe citrus. Medium to full bodied with fine to average carbonation. A little warming in the finish, some melon, ripe lemon, more wheat bread, light yeast. Not bad at all.

Keg at Small Bar, shared with Finn. Good lacing from a filmy layer. A slight haze to a golden body. Aroma of banana and yeasty fruitiness. Taste of citrus mingled with banana and honey sweetness. Sweet fruity end with a yeasty touch. Well bodied. Pleasant. (Bristol 01.05.2017).

Bottle courtesy of Geraint and Helen (cheers you two), consumed at home Bank Holiday Easter Monday 17th April 2017 cooking Lamb Siniya and also a vegetarian Moussaka and making Rhubarb Crumble Ice cream (again) Hazy warm gold with a white head, a little lemony but also with a good spicy edge, really like this, just noticed I’ve finished it, it’s a nice fruity Tripel.
