This is our only pink mead! The hibiscus gives a tart jammy, fruit flavour before leading to a dry, almost cranberry-like finish

(Draught at Gosnells Taproom, Bermondsey, London, 20 May 2023) Dark red colour with no head. Fruity, floral nose with red fruit, blackberries and hibiscus. Fruity, floral taste with notes of hibiscus, red berries and blackberries. Medium body, with a certain sweetness. Fruity, floral and refreshing. Nice one.

330ml can from Whole Foods, Kensington. Pours with a purple tinge to a golden body. Loose bubbles atop. Strong perfumed hibiscus aroma, works well with the honey to taste. Crisp palate with tart red Berry notes. Ok.

26/4/2021. Can sample courtesy of minutemat, cheers. Pours clear dark pinkish bronze with a small bubbly white head. Aroma of honey, wild berry hedgerow, flowers, herbs, sweet jammy notes. Medium plus sweetness, light bitter/tart. Moderate body, oily texture, sparkling carbonation. Quite liked it.

Can at Craig's. More wet paint aromas. Then some red fruit. Taste is a bit better than the last, but not much.

330ml can. Red colour, pink foam head and aroma of berries, honey, flowery, hibiscus. Taste is sweetish, honey, sugary with berry notes and alittle tartness. Syrupy mouthfeel, medium bodied, soft carbonation, lingering sweet honey & berry finish. Quite drinkable, abit sweet.

Bottle at BeerFest Asia, X Edition. Poured a hazy burgundy colour with a frothy pink head. The aroma is sweet honey, red berry fruity, sticky sugary malts. The flavour is moderate to strong sweet with a smooth, rich, fake sugar water, light mineral, light tart fruit, light floral palate. Medium bodied with average to soft carbonation. A little too light and watery for me. Not easily drinkable in any quantity.
