Decent refreshing Berliner weisse with an ok raspberry profile. Moderate acidity and a fine carbonation level. Easy to drink.

18th Nov 2018. 1st beer of a mini-tasting with myself and no one else. 330ml can; BBE 4th Jun 2019. Poured into an old Schultheiss Berliner Weisse bowl. The body was a murky orange/pink affair, no head at all. Aroma and taste was Raspberry first and foremost with some tartness throughout. The Blackberry content stayed second fiddle but also played an important part in the make up of this brew.

Can picked up from Tesco in Bicester consumed at home, Sunday 11th November 2018 whilst cooking Bobotie Pours murky, hazy pink with a pink barbie style head. Fruity with hedgerow berries prevalent, dry finish, tart as expected. Refreshing beer that I enjoyed but would probably enjoy even more in the summer. A6 A4 T7 P3 Ov13 3.3

Can 33 cl. Pours a cloudy, opaque pink with close to no head. Tart berry aroma, with a slightly chemical touc - prabably deriving from the lactic acid tho. Quite fizzy, light body with a very short finish. The tartness is only up front and vanishes in no time. Ok refreshing. 091118

Can from Tesco, Borehamwood. Hazy pink with sediment. More of a sour than an Weiss in my opinion, but with a decent enough fruity sourness, obviously it's a raspberry one! Some graininess in its texture and taste.

#sxshare Passion fruit and hibiscus meets soft malts and a drinkable crusher. No ott lactose shows that this is extremely well brewed. Really nice for the style.

Can from Tesco. Pink in colour, with a short-lived white head. Semi-tart, red berry aroma. Flavour had some grainy malts, sour red berries and a hint of blackberry sweetness before a mouth drying finish. Good.

33cl wide-mouth can from Tesco's, Amersham. A murky pinkish red pour with a fast fading loose white head; aroma of sour raspberries and some yeast; fruity, blackberry and raspberry taste, tart at first, then some sweetness; lacking finish. An interesting attempt at the style.

A pink and murky beer, a head is pink and big, decreasing with sizzling. Aroma has sourness, raspberry, also notes of rhubarb. Taste has strong sourness, berries, at least raspberry. Light bodied, sparkling carbonation. Highly berry.
