Avec ses 5 variétés de houblons qui laissent éclater en bouche des flaveurs de raisin blanc, d’ananas ou encore de fleurs et d’épices ... cette PVL GRAND CRU, refermentée en bouteille, ne pouvait pas passer inaperçue ... et c’est tant mieux !

Bottle shared at Cotteridge Convention 23/06/18. Many thanks! A hazed golden yellow coloured pour with a frothy white head. Aroma is bit chessy, straw, belgian yeast. Flavour is composed of apple, cinnamon, medium belgian yeast, some dried fruits. Palate is froty carbonation, some diacetyl.

Bouteille 75 cl trouvée à la brasserie du vieux Lille en février 2019. Millésime 2018, bouteille numérotée 10325. Rebue ensuite en terrasse du Beerchope en août 2019 en 33 cl. Blonde trouble, épaisse au service, avec une multitude de grosses bulles, beaucoup de matière en suspension. Nez sur les céréales, banane, caramel, malt Cara, vin blanc moelleux. En bouche, céréales, malt, un peu sucrée, rappelle certains triples belges légèrement sucrées avec une belle complexité, une rondeur et un bon soutien de l'alcool (on est à 10% ABV tout de même, ne donnez pas cette bière à vos enfants !). Très sympathique découverte !

Bottle shared at Cotteridge Convention 2018 - cheers all! Pours cloudy orange-gold with a tight, creamy topping. Soft tangy citrus fruits in the nose. Light to medium sweet flavour with bready malts, some booze. Medium bodied with average carbonation. Sweet and bready in the finish, some alcohol warmth. Pretty so so.

Bottle shared at Cotteridge get together. Spicy citrus aroma. Cloudy gold. Creamy thick head. Medium bitter. Sweet edge. Thin. Light. Fizzy carbonation. Abrupt finish. Refreshing despite the well hidden ABV.

23rd June 2018, shared bottle at the Cotteridge gathering. hazy light golden body, white crown. Grainy and floral nose, a little malty sweetness in the taste, light fruity notes late on. Maybe the Imperial Stouts drank around this took away some of it's more subtle attributes as my senses were almost shot be the time this arrived in front of me.

Bottle split at Cotteridge Convention IV, many thanks, 23/06/18. Hazed orange with an off white head. Nose is tarte fruis, straw, bitter sweet aroma, light yeast, grains. Taste comprises tangy fruits, bready, straw, grains, light yeast, hint of spice, caramel, dried frutis. Medium plus body, fine carbonation, lick of booze in the close. So so ... lacks depth and flavour considering the hefty ABV.

Had this at the Ratebeer Tasting and Cotteridge Gathering, Cotteridge Wines, Cotteridge, Birmingham, Saturday 23rd June 2018. Beer number seventeen. Light to mid gold on the pour with a white head. Good with a lot of depth, warming, sweet ok.A7 A4 T7 P3 Ov14 3.5

Shared at the Cotteridge Convention, 2018. Poured a hazy straw colour with a thin broken white head. The aroma is grainy malt with a yeastiy, grainy, yeasty floral hop bitter palate. Medium bodied with average carbonation.
