La Segreta is an unexpected beer, a bit like the great discoveries. It is a German-style wheat beer with the classic hints of banana and clove. The use of wheat gives a full and round body which, in the month of September, is enriched using also fresh hops of our production . The characteristic finish, slightly sharp, invites to drink: alone, in tasting, excellent as an aperitif but above all as an accompaniment to dishes of the Teutonic tradition. It is called secret every thing that does not mean a little 'because we like a lot, a little' because precious. Share it with those who are worth it ...

Bottle shared at Cotteridge Convention 2018 - cheers all! Pours cloudy orange with a creamy tan head. The nose is all meaty malts, ripe orange and grape dummies. Medium sweet flavour, some bread, ripe citrus. Medium bodied, lightly oily, with fine carbonation. A little warming in the finish, more bread, grains, jammy citrus. OK.

23rd June 2018, bottle shared at the Cotteridge gathering. Not your normal German Hefeweizen, some banana and clove esters/flavours but this was a sweet baby all round. Murky amber look, full beige head. Fruity nose with orange esters to the fore with a yeasty hint or two. Taste also orange's to the fore, sweet oranges at that, again some yeasty notes; light clove, vanilla and banana flavours late on.
