Bottle shared at Cotteridge Convention 23/06/18. Many thanks! a reddy mahogany brown coloured pour with a halo of beige head. Aroma is sweet nutty brown malts, coffee grounds, green pepper. Flavour is composed of nutty malts, nutty brown malts, brown sugars, coffee notes. Palate is medium sweet, oily moderate carbonation. Nice.

Bottle at Cotteridge get together. Cheap coffee aroma. Opaque dark brown. Thin off-white head. Bitter. The coffee really comes through. Also some sugary sweetness. Medium bodied but thin for the style. Flat carbonation. Long finish. Decent but could have a fuller figure.

Shared bottle at the 23rd June 2018 Cotteridge gathering. How do you like your coffee? If the answer is cold with a splash of alcohol then this is the drink for you. dark brown body, beige head, coffee and chocolate in the nose and taste, semi-sweet and fairly deep in body depth.

Bottle split at Cotteridge Convention IV, many thanks, 23/06/18. Rich mahogany brown with a decent light beige covering. Nose is coffee, sweet malts, toffee fudge, light roast. Taste comprises brown sugars, sweet malts, chocolate biscuit, light coffee bean, brown bread. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Ok stout but lacking depth for the relatively hefty ABV.
