Bottle shared in London - many thanks to Ian! Pours lightly hazy burnt gold with a frothy white head. Pleasant twiggy notes in the nose, a little citrus peel, leaves, pale bread. Light sweet flavour with mild doughy bread, straw, some farty yeast, low bitterness. Light bodied with fine to average carbonation. Finishes with further mild lemony notes, hay, crispy pale bread. Good stuff.

Bottle thanks to Ian. It pours golden - amber with a small white head. The aroma is soft, bread, toasty grain, cereal and porridge. The taste is dry, restrained bitterness, toasty grain, cereal, wood, leather and grass with a dry finish. Medium body and fine carbonation. Run of the mill bitter.

Bottle from the brewery and drunk at home. Clear slight haze deep amber / brown with a thick lasting cream head. Some biscuit on the flavour. Yes a biscuity bitter. Some hedgerow hop flavours on the finish. Decent condition and well balanced flavours. Yes a rather likeable straight forward bitter. Good dryness on the finish. Utterly drinkable bitter.
