Jester IPA - A smooth and hazy IPA with an entire Pirate Ship's worth of Jester dry hops crammed into every corner of the glass. Pink grapefruit and satsuma sail side by side supported on wave of oatmeal and wheat.

33cl can from the Mad Squirrel shop, Chesham. An explosive opening and a gushing pour revealing an unpleasant looking opaque caramel coloured liquid with an enormous peaky off-white head; the aroma had some weak apricot and peach; the taste however was surprisingly good, with the oats definitely showing up in the smooth body. Overall not an experience I'll be repeating.

330ml can @ Blind Tiger. Pours a misty yellow, large white head. Aroma has pleasant peachy fruit, soft brioche. Continues to taste with a nice hazy NEIPA character, good peachy apricot, nice background citrus, soft bitterness, yet finishes quite light. Decent.

330ml can. Poured hazy straw colour with a frothy white head and a few bubbles. The aroma is malt, gluey toffee citrus fruit. The flavout is moderate sweet, light bitter, with a crisp, fresh, dry malt, tropical citrus fruit, light dry pepper spice, hop bitter palate. Medium bodied with average carbonation.

Can @ Blind Tiger, Shrewsbury. Cloudy yellow-blonde with a small head. It has a subdued citrus with some activity in the palate, but not much. It slips down well for its strength and is noticeably unfiltered.

cloudy yellow gold beer, good pale cream colour head. Light palate, decent superfine carbonation. Sweet Malta, sweet cream, spicy floralness. Light yeasty mid. A little Jester hop fruits. Mild piney hop. Thin apple. Dry seltzer finish. It's sweet and lacks cleanliness. A straight up Jester IPA is a great idea, but not well enough executed here.

Can at MS HW, 09/12/17. Murky orange amber with a well presented off white head that retains well. Nose is bitter citric flesh, dank exhaust, raw grapefruit, light spice, yeast trace. Taste comprises bitter orange, melon, light mineral bite, toasted brioche, pineapple, toasted grains. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, drying close peppered with earthy hop bitterness. Decent enough IPA if a touch harsh in places.
