Botella 50 cl en Cimmeria 06.. 04..2018. (r15). Color negro intenso con espuma beige poco persistente. Sabores suaves maltosos tostados con toques de cacao y coco suaves. Cuerpo ligero, algo aguado, líquido, fácil de beber. No le venía mal algo más de cuerpo y densidad. Normal.

Bottle from Great Grog. Black body with a thin beige head. Faint lacing. Aroma of coffee, chocolate and rust. Flavour of malt and nuts. Thin body with a watery texture. Soft fizz. It’s a bit thin and I’m not getting much coconut. Just ok.

Bottle from Cotteridge Wines, Birmingham and shared with the KL Tasting Crew. Poured a murky dark brown with a frothy, short-lived, off white head. The aroma is malt, some red berry fruit notes, chocolate and coconut as expected! The flavour is moderate sweet light liquorice bitter with a smooth, dry earthy malt, liqouirce, sweet chocolate, coconut, light hop palate. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.

Cask-conditioned at the Pelican, Gloucester 16/2/2018 as 'coconut porter'. Near black in colour, with a moderately-sized, off-white, head. Sweetish, chocolate and coconut notes, some toasty malts, a hint of brown sugar and dryish finish. A pleasant porter.
