You like beer. You like tangy grapefruits. You're really going to like twisted grapefruit IPA. We use super-citrussy mandarina bavaria hops along with zesty classic chinook and, just to make sure, we lob in loads of real grapefruits, hand-chopped by Barbara who has the best knife skills in the brewery. What follows is bright, pithy, juicy heaven - twisted grapefruit IPA.

Can from Tesco Extra, Manchester. Golden with a head. The grapefruit is very pronounced with a citric bitter finish. Its aroma is potent enough that you don't need to even hold your nose too close to the glass to get it.

0.33 l bottle shared with Višnja 666 and Pilot Goran during a tasting session in the summer of 2017. Thanks! Bought at a Small Shop (Mali dućan) Matejuška, Split, Croatia. Clear golden, minimal head. Grapefruit juice, no hops. Fruity and moderately bitter. Medium body, soft to moderate carbonation, lightly dry finish. This is a juice, not an IPA.

Canned 330ml. -from Vrutak Zagreb. Clear golden coloured, medium sized airy white head, grapefruity nose. Biscuity malty, grapefruity, notes of orange and multivitamins with dryish bitter finish. Nothing special here but easy-drinkable.

Can at the Grosvenor. Appearance - golden with a nice lacy head. Nose - pink grapefruit up front with pale malt and pith following it in. Taste - more pink grapefruit then regular grapefruit at the back. Palate - light bodied and zesty throughout. Overall - liked it.

(can, 33cl) Clear, deep golden colour with a loose mid-sized and slightly off-white frothy head. Intensively, infused grapefruity aroma, even slightly artificial when the beer gets warmer. Moderately sweet and slightly bitter flavour, light to medium bodied with a tame carbonation. Cautious malt-character with strong notes of pink grapefruit lemonade, leading into a sweet and delicately bitter, also slightly artificially fruity finish. Not my cup of tea. 11.VII.17

Zesty and fresh, but lacking a certain something, a bit one-dimensional.
